Los Médicos Voladores (LMV) -- in Spanish, the flying doctors -- is a 100% volunteer-based, non-religious, nonprofit organization that aims to improve the health and well-being of geographically diverse peoples through education and the provision of no-cost, high-quality medical, dental, and optometric clinics. LMV serves Mexico, Central and South America, and migrant labor populations of southeast California. Since 1975 LMV has offered more than 250 short-term medical, dental, optometry, and other healthcare clinics, treating over 7,000 patients per year. lmv-logo-small The LMV Experience

Flying Docs recruiting for new Southern California chapter

Monthly Meetings:

  • 1st Wednesday of each month, starting 1-Feb-2012
  • Bermuda Dunes Airport, CA; Pilot Lounge
  • Landing fee waived for any LMV person who flies in

Los Médicos Voladores (the flying doctors) has just started a new chapter based in Southern California. We have already attracted a strong nucleus of talent but are additionally seeking (click for details on qualifications):

  • Pilots
  • Healthcare Professionals (dentists, physicians, dental hygienists, optometrists, chiropractors, PAs, NPs, etc)
  • Translators
  • General Volunteers
