- we need to understand why there's a drop off in traffic to the site (perhaps fewer search hits on the mostly-removed "flying doctors"?)
- about 40 emails received per month to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ... about half for donation of meds/supplies (forwarded to Clem)
LMV Facebook Fans
- LMV Facebook page set up by Aimee Abittan, 27-June-2009
- majority of our 91 "fans" are (deduced by age/gender/location) Aimee's friends
- by comparison, the Tahoe Rim Trail Association (similar membership numbers; smaller geographic coverage) has 301 fans
- good number of wall postings (27) since 27June inception (2.2 posts per week) -- so "freshness" is likely not a limiting factor
- postings include... 7 videos and 10 photo albums
- we should target >300 fans by end-of-2009 -- all members should become fans, and forward to friends and friends-of-friends
- we should get in the habit of posting immediately following every trip (short narrative summary, photos, slideshows, videos)
LMV Yahoo Groups
In addition to the already existing LMV Pilot Group and the LMV Member Group, we also opened an LMV Docs Group for our medical professionals and other interested members. See:
