Rather than reinvent the wheel and also risk double postings, we've decided to direct all of our "newsy" information to the LMV Facebook Page rather than on the LMV website itself. The procedure for posting such items is as follows (commands you are to execute are noted below in red underline):
One-time Preparation
- Become a fan of the LMV Facebook Page
- send a request to become an "admin" (have posting rights) on the LMV Facebook Page
Posting a Story (e.g. narrative of recent LMV trip)
- go to the LMV Facebook Page and login with your Facebook account
- on the Wall tab, simply type in your narrative (note, there are some limits to number of characters)
- you can optionally:
- add here a Link (e.g. to a newspaper article about LMV)
- upload a Photo to be included with the narrative
- upload a Video related to the narrative
- Share
Creating a Photo Album
- go to the LMV Facebook Page and login with your Facebook account
- click on the Photos tab
- click on the Create a Photo Album button
- upload and organize your new photo album
Uploading a Video
- go to the LMV Facebook Page and login with your Facebook account
- click on the Video tab
- click on the Upload Video button
