Content Management System
The site is authored using the Joomla Content Management System:

- a variety of Joomla extensions are used from http://extensions.joomla.org/
Database Management
The majority of database functions (Trip Registration, Airfield Database, etc) are constructed using Zoho Creator:

- Databases included:
- Trip Registration (public data input; separate login for data viewing)
- Airfield Database (public data viewing)
- Trip Reimbursement & Trip Reports (public data input and viewing)
- Roster (requires separate login for viewing and editing)
An exception is the New Application Database which utilizes the Jform Joomla extension, with public data input and Joomla backend viewing of the database.
Donations
At present, donations of funds to LMV is processed via Network for Good. This may move to PayPal (see below) as time permits.
Payments
Dues and Trip Expenses are paid directly into chapter PayPal accounts, that are created and managed by each chapter.
Social Networking
With an eye toward broadening the communication amongst members and other interested parties... and to avoid redundant functionality... we are leveraging our Facebook Page for:
- high-frequency communications (logs, chats)
- trip narratives
- photo albums
- videos
We also use various Yahoo Groups for more focussed communications and LMV Forums.
