"Well here’s a case of a 12 year old girl with a badly decayed front tooth. Her pain was so bad she did her own root canal—with a staple! She then closed the access hole with a toothpick. Dr. Michael Britting and Dr Ezekiel removed the staples, completed an apico (an upside-down root canal), and gave her a shiny new composite crown. Nice work guys."

"There were some really unforgettable moments, like our party on Saturday in Guaymas or when we found a Jeep that got stuck in the ocean and when a truck came to help it, the truck also got stuck in the ocean. Plus, we created inside jokes that are still funny…you know? I had so much more fun than I expected on a volunteer mission. Along came Sunday and we were all ready to say goodbye to Mexico and head back home. We might’ve said goodbye for the moment but I’m sure I will go back again soon…"
