Los Médicos Voladores (LMV) travels to areas with limited or no access to medical and dental care, providing treatments that result in significant and often life-changing outcomes for patients. Our medical mission teams offer medical and dental services, along with medicines, supplies, training, and education for local communities during our visits and beyond.

We understand that not everyone can join us in our clinics, but you can still make a meaningful impact by donating to LMV. Your contribution will help us bring more supplies and medications, in addition to ensuring ongoing support from nurses and local staff after we leave.

We are currently focusing our fundraising efforts on the following areas:

* Nutritional packets for malnourished children in Southeast Haiti (Plumpy Nut)
* Eyeglasses
* Dental supplies
* Sunglasses
* Medications

Every year, hundreds of children die from preventable diseases, even though effective prevention and treatment are available—if only they had access to the necessary funds.

Tom Palmer loved The Flying Doctors, and we loved him. He gave so much of himself that his impact will forever be a part of this organization.

One of Tom’s passions, besides planes, was the LMV Angel Fund. Understanding the expense of flying missions, he created this fund to assist our pilots with associated fuel costs. He knew the importance of supporting the pilots, knowing that without them, LMV would be grounded, limiting our volunteers’ ability to reach remote clinics.
